Chesterton Academy is committed to keeping tuition affordable for our families and view this as central to our pro-life mission. The actual cost to educate each student exceeds tuition charged. We are also still accepting applications for the 2017/18 school year, but below are the rates for 2018/19.
2018/19 school year
Tuition: $7,300 per year
Student Fee: $350 (for labs, resource binder, picture day and retreats)
There is a $500 non-refundable deposit which is due upon enrollment. This deposit will be applied directly toward your tuition.
Books/supplies will be purchased by each family. Some books/supplies can be purchased from the school, others from online vendors or bookstores.
Choir Uniform: approximately $100 (This is only for the first year of attendance unless your student grows and needs a new size.)
All tuition will be collected using TADS, and there are three payment plan options: one, two or ten payments. There is no fee for the one or two payment options; however, TADS will assess an annual administrative fee of $45 for families who choose the 10 payment option. Tuition must be paid in full by the end of each school year before progressing to the next grade or before any transcripts are released.
If a student participates in sports or other activities, there may be associated fees with those.
Upon acceptance to Chesterton Academy of Milwaukee, you will be sent an email with instructions on how to complete the Enrollment steps on TADS, as well as a Tuition Management Agreement (that will include any financial aid award, if applicable). Please complete your Enrollment steps and accept your Tuition Management Agreement on TADS by May 4th, 2018 or within two weeks of receipt, whichever is later.
We are building our tuition assistance fund and have some funds available for the 2018-2019 school year. All financial assistance is based on need and funds available. The priority deadline for financial aid applications for all incoming and returning students is February 11, 2018. Families may still apply for financial aid beyond that date, but priority is given to those applying by the February 11 deadline.
In order to be considered for financial aid, new students must have already completed an online application and paid their application fee.
Financial aid applications are processed by an outside company (TADS) that recommends the qualifying financial need amount, using industry standard formulas and personal financial data. Your personal financial information will remain confidential. The Financial Aid Committee members, none who have students in the school, will determine the award amount given, based on the recommendation from TADS and the availability of scholarship funds. We respect the confidential nature of all personal information.
Please note that there is a $34 TADS application processing fee that will be due upon submitting a financial aid application.
